International Ladies win the Lexus Cup 16 - 8

Well, the tournament is over and the international ladies have done it.

Annika Sorenstam picks up the win as captain in her first outing leading a team. Paula Creamer goes 3 - 0 in her matchups to cement the win for the international team.

The international team put together a solid 6-2 win in the team match, the fourball match leaving the score of 8-4, and finally an 8-4 close on the singles play on Sunday to close the tournament.

Sorenstam proves in her first outing to be an excellent captain for her team, leading them to a confident win in this Ryder Cup style tournament. Key victories, and timely shots from Erica Blasberg, the outstanding play of Paula Creamer (who was quite critical of her singles play), and the unwavering confidence of Annika competing against Asian team captain all came together to put this tournament on ice.
